Rob Jones is a long-time collector, researcher, and presenter of soul music, known for his deep knowledge of rare & classic soul, Motown, Northern Soul, and 60s-70s soul recordings. His work spans decades of DJing, radio production, and online soul-music archiving.
Jones has been active as a DJ at major UK soul venues, including the Allnighter Club of Great Britain and Manchester's legendary Twisted Wheel.
He later moved into radio production, presenting specialist soul shows on Emperor Rosko's Los Angeles-based Rosko Radio, along with appearances on stations worldwide.
He founded The Soul Guy, a nonprofit platform promoting soul artists, DJs, and radio stations, and relaunched Soul Guy Radio in 2015.
